How to Connect
The irix Internet Exchange is in Malaysia’s first Tier IV Data Centre - irix DC @ Santubong 1 located in Kuching, Sarawak. By collocating in our data centre, you can connect directly to irix Internet Exchange.
Steps to connect:
  • An ASN (Autonomous System Number) registered to your legal entity
  • Select your preferred port speed (1G 10G 100G)
  • Select your service type (Internet Peering)
  • Complete the application form to get access to the irix customer portal
  • Sign a Connection and Cross Connect agreement with irix
  • Order a connection in our customer portal
What's next?

  1. We will provide you with the demarcation/assignment details of your connection.
    With these, you will be able to request a cross connect (if applicable).
    You will also receive the IP address and instructions to configure your equipment correctly.

  2. Once you have completed the configuration (and, if applicable, the cross connect is connected), please contact our NOC team. They will help you test the connection and bring it into production.
